On Friday 16th May, The Asthma Foundation of Victoria hosted its annual Bubble Ball at Peninsula at Docklands to “Help Blow Asthma Away”.  In its fourth year the night was a huge success with over 350 guests in attendance raising funds for asthma education, training and research.

The event was masterfully co-hosted by actor/television host Pete Lazer and presenter/actress, the radiant Sarah Lawrence, entertaining guests with charm and good humour.

Robin Ould, CEO of the Asthma Foundation, presented David Herd of GlaxoSmithKline with The Zelman Cowen Award in recognition of the very significant role GSK played in supporting the recent Asthma Foundation of Victoria bushfire initiative, by providing free Ventolin puffer and Spacer Kits to people with asthma through pharmacies in fire affected districts.

Masses of bubbles filled the room as guests took to the dance floor enjoying the funky sounds of cover band "Retro Inferno".

Proceeds from The Bubble Ball support asthma education, emergency training programs, maintaining the asthma HelpLine and enhancing the Asthma Friendly™ Schools program.
