It's on again! The Asthma Foundation of Victoria will be hosting its fifth annual Bubble Ball event to 'Help Blow Asthma Away' at PENINSULA, Central Pier, Docklands on Saturday 15th May, 2010 from 7pm to midnight.
Australia has one of the highest rates of asthma in the world and is our most widespread chronic health problem with over 2 million people directly affected. The Asthma Foundation of Victoria is a non-for-profit registered charity that is largely reliant on private and corporate funding in order to continue to support all Victorians with asthma. Funds raised support the state-wide activities of the Foundation including asthma community education, Asthma Friendly children’s services and schools programs, the asthma HelpLine, health professional training and research funding.
This years event dress code has a “Tropical Twist” so add something fruity, flowery or Hawaiian to your look for fun. This year you'll enjoy top class live entertainment, sumptuous three course dining, exciting live and silent auctions, the Bubble Ball Raffle and much more. With all proceeds going towards asthma community programs, education and research supporting over 600,000 Victorians with asthma, this year's event, set amongst the magnificent ambience of Melbourne's Docklands, is a Bubble Ball not to missed!
